This web site is being developed to take advantage of the many benefits of high-speed Internet connectivity.  As an example, most of the included images have hot-links to much higher resolution files.  A 5 MegaPixel digital camera is used to capture most of the images posted on this site.  The images are often contained in files that can be in excess of 1MByte.  I feel that it is important to offer a visitor who has taken the time to find and examine my site the very best representation of my work that I can.   -Allen
